CA 008 Rosa en dos versiones / Pink in two versions

Otra vez para nenas... aunque sin los bobos y tejida en colores tierra o azules serviría muy bien para niño también.  

Este cardigan básico está trabajado en una pieza desde la cintura hasta la sisa, donde dividimos el trabajo en frentes y espalda.  Las mangas se trabajan aparte y se cosen a la prenda una vez terminadas.

Luego se trabaja la pretina de la cintura y los acabados de frentes y cuello.

Los bobos son opcionales y se tejen sobre la pieza ensamblada.

Once again a cardi for girls... although it could well be worn by boys too if stitched in earth tones or dark blues.

This is a basic cardigan and is work in one piece from the waist up to the armholes, where we divide our work in fronts and back.  Sleeves are worked separately and sewn to the bodice.  We then work the waist ribbing and the button and buttonhole plackets.

The little ruffles are optional and are crocheted once the piece is assembled.

CR 018 - Coral Canesú Redondo Calado / Coral Round Yoke

Otra chaquetita  para la colección.  Utilicé Hilo Tropical y ganchillo de acero 4/0.  El canesú redondo se trabaja en vueltas de medio punto y punto "puff" o punto avellana y el cuerpo en un patrón de puntos altos fomando un entrelazado.

Another baby cardigan for our collection.  I used Tropical thread (fine acrylic thread) and a 4/0 steel hook.

SALIDA DE BAÑO - BEACH COVER UP

Después de varias semanas regreso a publicar en el blog.... esta vez una salida de baño que tejí basada en un modelo que solia tejerle a mi hija cuando era pequeñita.  Está hecha en pabilo de algodón (barbante) y gancho 3.00mm, en un punto que combina "rombos y arañas" que queda muy bien para este tipo de prendas...
El punto se trabaja sobre una base de cadenas múltiplo de 16 + 3 + 4 cadenas para reemplazar el primer punto alto en la primera vuelta.  En este caso, yo trabajé 12 motivos, por lo que monté 199 cadenas  (16x12) + 3 + 4 y trabajé siguiendo el esquema que les dejo arriba.
 Espero les guste el resultado.


After a few weeks I am back publishing my blog... this time I'm posting a beach cover up based on the one I used to make for my daughter when she was little.  It is made in cotton and worked with a 3.00 mm crochet hook in a pattern stitch that combines "diamonds and spiders" and that looks very nice for this type of garment... 
The pattern is worked over a multiple of 16 + 3 + 4 additional chains in the first row to replace the first dc and chain.  In this cas, I worked 12 motifs, so i began with 199 chains (16 x 12) + 3 + 4, and worked following the graph provided above.

TR 001 - ENTERITO MARINERO / NAVY ONESIES

Este mes me he dedicado a la creación de "enteritos"  (jardineros) para bebé y aquí les traigo la versión "masculina", aunque cambiando el color del hilo de contraste por rosa o rojo queda lindo también para nena.

Se comienza por un canesú cuadrado y luego se continúa en punto fantasía.  La abertura queda en la espalda y es bastante larga para facilitar el cambio del bebé.

This month I have tried my hand at creating baby onesies.  This is the boy version in white and blue (using pink, fucsia  or red as contrasting colors would make it look great on a baby girl.)  We begin by working a square yoke  and then we continue working the bodice in the pattern stitch.  It has a long opening on the back to make it easier to dress the baby.
