Ideal para niños (aunque queda muy bien también para niñas agregando un acabado diferente al cuellito y puños) esta chaquetita de cuello smocking se trabaja en tres partes. Comenzando desde la base de la cintura, trabajamos en una sola pieza hasta la altura de la sisa, la espalda y los paneles laterales de los frentes. Luego dividimos frentes y espalda y continuamos trabajando hacia los hombros. A continuación cerramos las costuras de los hombros y trabajamos la pretina y finalmente trabajamos las bandas centrales que completarán los frentes y darán forma al cuellito.
Ideal for little boys, (though girls look really cute with smocking collared sweaters, specially when a "frilly" edging is added), this jacket is worked in three parts. Beginning at the waist, we work in one piece the back and front panels up to the armhole division. Back and fronts are then worked separately. Once the back and fronts are finished, we sew the shoulder seams and work the waist ribbing. Then we add the front panel, which doubles as button/buttonhole bands and collar.
