Ideal for little boys, (though girls look really cute with smocking collared sweaters, specially when a "frilly" edging is added), this jacket is worked in three parts. Beginning at the waist, we work in one piece the back and front panels up to the armhole division. Back and fronts are then worked separately. Once the back and fronts are finished, we sew the shoulder seams and work the waist ribbing. Then we add the front panel, which doubles as button/buttonhole bands and collar.
Queda también muy bien como chalequito, agregándole 3 vueltas de punto pretina en las aberturas de las mangas. El patrón estará disponible en breve en mi tienda de Ravelry: Maru Minetto Designs at Ravelry.com
It also looks very nice as a vest, with the addition of 3 rows of ribbing in the armhole openings. Pattern will be available shortly through my store at: Maru Minetto Designs at Ravelry.com
